What that means in practice
If you're extending what an agent can do, the path is registering a tool source, an external MCP server your organization controls, under Tools, rather than installing something from a marketplace. What one organization configures isn't visible to or shared with another.
Building a new tool source
A tool source is a standard MCP server. Build one exposing whatever actions or lookups you want an agent to reach, then register its address under Tools. Anything it exposes becomes available to attach to an agent the same way Auron's own tools are exposed to Auron in Claude.
