Outbound Calls
Having Auron place a call on your behalf instead of joining one you're already on.
An outbound call is Auron dialing out, rather than an agent joining a call you started. It's driven by a campaign: a named list of who to call, which agent calls them, and the rules the calling should follow, instead of one call at a time.
Who a campaign calls
A campaign's audience is either every record on an entity that matches a filter, such as every open deal past a certain stage, or an explicit set of people, such as the members of a team.
The rules that shape it
A campaign's rules set the calling window, the hours it's allowed to place calls in, and the maximum number of times to retry a number before giving up. They also decide whether a declined or unanswered call is retried at all, and how many calls go out at once and how far apart, so a campaign doesn't fire every number simultaneously.
What happens on the call
Once connected, an outbound call is a session like any other. The assigned agent runs it, a transcript is produced, and anything the call surfaces, a signal or an artefact, lands on the record the call was about, the same as if the call had come in.
Where it's managed
Campaigns are set up and monitored from the console. On the phone, an outbound call you're on looks and behaves like any other voice call once it connects. The campaign machinery that dialed it isn't something you drive from the call screen itself.
