Getting around the app
The four tabs, the shared top bar, the swipe-out menu, and the bars that follow you between screens.
Four tabs
The bar at the bottom has four destinations. Everything else opens on top of them and closes back to them.
| Tab | What is on it |
|---|---|
| Home | Your greeting, the Ask Auron box, shortcuts to records you use, and the organization feed |
| Entities | The people, accounts or assets your organization tracks |
| Automations | Your organization's automations, their runs, and the approvals waiting on you |
| History | Past calls, chats, voice notes and Ask Auron chats, as a list or a calendar |
Guests do not get the Automations tab.
On Android the tab bar shrinks out of the way as you scroll down and comes back as you scroll up. On iPhone the system tab bar does its own version of the same thing.
The top bar
Every tab shares one top bar: the menu button on the left, the screen title in the middle, an action for that screen where it has one, and the notification bell on the right with its unread count.
Two things to know about it:
- A red dot on the menu button means you have an invitation to another organization waiting.
- The bell is the way into the notifications themselves. The Notifications row in the menu is their settings, not the list.
On Home, the screen action is the button for writing a feed post, when your role allows posting.
The menu
The menu slides in from the left. Open it with the button in the top bar of any tab, or by swiping in from the left edge. It is not a screen you navigate to, so it stays available underneath whichever tab you are in.
Inside are your profile and the editor for it, your password, your API keys, connected services, the organization switcher, your stored domains, research reports, notification and permission settings, appearance, and the feedback form. See Menu, appearance and feedback.
Where to find things
| Looking for | Go to |
|---|---|
| Someone you are about to meet | Entities, or Jump back in on Home |
| Something you did last week | History |
| A call on a particular date | History → the calendar button in the top bar |
| What your automations have been doing | Automations |
| An approval waiting on you | The top of the Automations tab, the feed, or the bell |
| A report about a record over a quarter | Menu → Reports |
| A recording you made in the car | History → Voice Notes |
| Sessions coming up later today | The card at the top of History |
| A different workspace or deployment | Menu → organization switcher, or Menu → Manage Domains |
| The person who wrote a feed post | Their name or photo on the post |
| Your own profile, as colleagues see it | Menu → My Profile |
| A key for a script that acts as you | Menu → API Keys |
| Somewhere to say what is not working | Menu → Share Feedback |
Two bars that follow you
The call bar appears at the top of the screen when a call is live and you have navigated away from the call screen. The call keeps running. Tap the bar to go back to it.
The recording bar appears when a voice note is recording and you have minimised the recorder. It shows the elapsed time with pause and stop, so you can look something up mid-recording.
Going back
Ending a call drops you into that meeting's chat, where the transcript and everything the session produced is waiting, and going back from there returns you to Home rather than to the call you just ended.
When you are part-way through picking an agent or a record, Back steps back through those choices rather than abandoning the whole flow.
