Research reports
Long-form reports about one record over a period, the two-step setup, and saving a setup as a template.
A research report is about a record over a stretch of time, drawing on everything Auron holds about it. That makes it a different thing from a session report, which is about one conversation.
Open them from Menu → Reports.
The list
Reports are grouped by recency. Each row shows the record it is about, its entity type and the period covered, a status, and when it was created.
Rows update themselves while a report is being planned or written, so you can leave the screen open. Tapping one that has not finished tells you it is still generating rather than opening an empty document. A long press offers delete.
Creating a report is limited to owners and admins, so the + button only appears if you are one.
Step 1: configure
Three choices:
- The entity type.
- The record.
- The reporting period, from presets or a custom range.
If your organization has saved templates, Load a saved template appears here and fills in the rest for you.
Step 2: customize
Two routes into this step.
Preview with AI proposes a set of sections, a synthesis framing and custom instructions, worked out for the record and period you picked.
Customize manually starts from the default sections for that entity type.
Either way you end up with the same controls: turn sections on and off, edit the synthesis framing that tells the writer how to frame every section, and add free-form instructions of your own. Then generate.
Before generating you can save the whole setup as a template, which puts it behind Load a saved template for next time. This is worth doing for any report you produce on a schedule.
Reading and sharing
A finished report opens as a formatted document, padded the same way the PDF is so what you read matches what you send. Share turns it into a PDF and hands it to your phone's share sheet.
