Profiles

Your profile page, what colleagues see on it, and editing your photo, name, bio and phone number.

Everyone has a profile page. It is the same page whether you are looking at your own or at a colleague's, with an Edit button in the corner when it is yours.

Opening one

Your own is in the menu, under My Profile. Someone else's opens when you tap their name or their photo on a feed post.

A profile only opens if the two of you are in at least one organization together. Otherwise the screen says the profile is unavailable, the same answer you get for a person who does not exist.

What is on it

The photo, name and email are at the top. Tapping the email copies it.

Under that sits the bio, when the person has written one, and then the organizations. Your own profile lists every organization you belong to. A colleague's lists only the ones you are both in, each with the role they hold there (Owner, Admin, Member or Guest) and the date they joined.

Your phone number appears on your own profile only. It is never shown to anyone else.

Editing yours

Account in the menu opens the editor.

Save is only offered once something has actually changed.

Preview in the top right opens your profile the way colleagues see it. It shows the saved version, so if you have edits you have not saved the app asks before it discards them.

A new photo replaces the old one wherever it appears: the menu, your posts in the feed, and the web console.

The same profile is on the web. See Your account.
