Ask Auron
A chat about your organization's data as a whole rather than about a single record.
Ask Auron answers questions across the whole organization. Where a record chat knows about one account, Ask Auron looks at accounts, signals, meetings and pipeline together, which makes it the place for questions that start with "which" or "how many".
The empty chat suggests the shape of it: ask about accounts, signals, meetings, pipeline.
Starting one
Two ways in:
- The box on Home. Tap it to see your five most recent Ask Auron chats, or type a question and send it to start a new chat with that question already asked.
- The History tab, where past Ask Auron chats are listed under their own filter.
What it can show you
Replies come back as they are written, and can include charts, tables and stat cards alongside the text, exactly as in a record chat. Each lookup Auron runs appears in the thread as its own row, named and marked with a spinner while it runs, so the reply reads in the order it happened instead of as one block that seems to change subject. The rows are labels, not buttons. Reasoning still collapses into a Thinking chip you can open. See Interactive answers in chats.
What it already knows about you
You never have to introduce yourself. Every question arrives with your name, email, organization role, teams, the current date and time, and the records assigned to you. Ask "what is still open for me this week" and it resolves both the week and the "me" on its own. With nothing assigned to you it answers across the organization and says that is what it did.
How it differs from a record chat
An Ask Auron chat has only two tabs, Chat and Artifacts. There is no call button and no composer actions menu, because there is no record and no agent session behind it. It cannot be turned into a meeting.
Naming and cleaning up
A new chat names itself after your first exchange, so the History list reads as a set of questions rather than a set of timestamps. From History you can rename a chat or delete it.
