Domains

A domain is one Auron deployment, named by its address. Most people only ever use one. If you work with two, for example a production deployment and a test one, or two separate client deployments, the app holds both at once.

Signing in stores that domain on the phone together with the email you used. You can add as many as you have accounts for and switch between them without signing out of any.

Managing domains

Menu → Manage Domains lists every domain you have signed into, with the email used for each and a marker on the one you are currently in. From here you can:

• Switch to another stored domain.
• Remove one you no longer need. You cannot remove the one you are using without leaving it first; removing the active domain returns you to the sign in screen.
• Add another with Add domain, which opens the sign in screen again.

What is kept separate

Switching domains clears what was on screen from the previous one, so data from one deployment is never shown while you are in another. Anything the app remembers locally is stored against the domain it belongs to, including which organization you were last in, your starred records and your recent records.

Voice notes are also held per domain. A recording made while signed into one deployment does not appear in another, even on the same phone.

What you cannot do across domains

There is no cross-domain view. Search, history and notifications are all scoped to the domain you are in, so finding something you know you recorded means switching to the domain it was recorded on.
