Glossary

Short definitions for the terms used throughout these docs. See Start Here: How Auron Works for how they fit together.

• Agent: a configured participant that joins a session, with its own knowledge, skills and signals.
• Session: one bounded interaction, a meeting, a call, or a chat.
• Entity: a type of thing an organization tracks, such as an account or a deal.
• Record: one instance of an entity.
• Stakeholder: a person identified as connected to an entity, tracked across conversations.
• Signal: something Auron detected inside a session worth surfacing, such as a risk or a commitment.
• Action: a single step Auron can execute once something is agreed, such as updating a record.
• Automation: a trigger plus an ordered chain of actions, run without a person driving it by hand.
• Knowledge store: reference material an agent is configured against.
• Skill: a capability an agent can use beyond conversing.
• Tool: a live action or lookup an agent can call during a session, usually against an external system.
• Knowledge graph: the connected view of entities, records and stakeholders built from captured sessions.
• Organization: Auron's top-level container; every user, agent and record belongs to exactly one.
• Role: what a user is permitted to do within an organization: owner, admin, user or guest.
