AI constitution
The behavioural rules that govern every agent, across conversation, signal extraction and signal review.
The constitution is the set of behavioural rules that applies to all of your agents, underneath whatever any individual agent's instructions say. Where the canvas is one agent's brief, the constitution is the organization's standing policy.
It is organised into three parts, matching the three phases where an agent's behaviour matters.

Working with a rule
Each part is made of fragments, and each fragment can be:
- Edited, to change the rule for your organization.
- Switched off, to take it out of effect without losing the text.
- Restored to default, which puts Auron's original wording back.
Every fragment ships with a sensible default, so an organization that changes nothing still gets governed behaviour. Restore is always available, which makes editing safe to experiment with.
Signal reviewer rules are currently view-only. You can read what they say, and editing them is coming.
When to change it
Change the constitution when the requirement applies to every agent: a disclosure your industry requires, a topic agents must never advise on, a standard of evidence a signal must meet before it is recorded. Anything that applies to one agent belongs in that agent's canvas instead. See Agents.
